Faulty Machine Returns Procedure

1. Our warranty policy is “return to base” this means that it is the customers responsibility to return the product. If the machine is found to be faulty under warranty, the customer will be reimbursed up to £40.00 carriage fee upon the production of a receipt. This will only be actioned once the machine has been repaired and returned to the customer.

2. Warranty starts from the point SWP issues an invoice for the product, not when the customer sells the product. SWP allows for a 3-month shelf life.

3. If the machine is inspected and found to be in working order but is under warranty, the customer will still be charged for carriage, inspection, MCT and any other charges.

4. If the machine is unable to be repaired, the Company will contact the customer to advise and raise the credit for the faulty machine.

5. Out of box failure means: Machine has been unpackaged and used once. An out of box failure should never have been used for weeks, or months.

6. If the machine is classed as out of box failure, it should be sent back to us in original packaging. We will send a replacement once the returned machine has been inspected and confirmed as out of box failure.

7. If the machine has been used, we will ask for it to be sent back, test it, and contact the customer with suggested solutions.

8. If the machine is found to be faulty, we will either repair or replace under warranty.

Machines sent in for a quote to repair outside of warranty:

9. The Company will inspect the machine and then quote the customer for repair.

10. Repair will only be actioned once the customer has sent a PO.

11. Quotes are always an estimate.

12. If the machine is found to be in working order, the original machine will be sent back to the customer, and a carriage and inspection fee charged.

13. If the repair requires a spare part, the Company will advise the customer of the lead time and subsequent delay to the repair.

14. We do not repair CEA machines which are out of Warranty,
